Silver Safe Products was born from years of research, dedication, and a deep commitment to public health. Our flagship product, the Silvertize cloth, combines the natural power of silver ions with cutting-edge textile technology to deliver a reliable, eco-friendly, and long-lasting antimicrobial solution.
Ed’s journey to develop Silvertize began in 1996 at SJSU in California with a vision: to create a product that would help prevent the spread of germs safely and effectively. After six years of development and a significant personal investment, he crafted a unique cloth infused with silver ions, proven to kill germs on contact.
While silver-based sanitation is commonly used in medical devices like IV needles and catheters, Ed and Arthur knew this technology had the potential to reach beyond hospitals and into our everyday lives.
